With the minor league season officially ending yesterday (albeit with a Diamondbacks affiliate on the losing end of a championship-deciding game five), Inside the ‘Zona will be taking an in-depth look at each of the organization’s seven minor league affiliates. Through this process, we’ll discuss each team’s season, uncover the top prospects on each squad and showcase the notable performances on the year, awarding a position player and pitcher MVP for each team.

This process will culminate with the release of the annual Inside the ‘Zona Top-30 Prospects List. As was very helpful in the past, we’ll consult with scouts and sources, while also combing the internet, to provide the best, most realistic top prospect list possible. Last year’s effort was very successful and we’re looking forward to doing it all over again!

If the minors aren’t your thing, I’d implore you read up, even if just lightly, on the future of the organization. In the meantime, we’ll continue to bring all of the latest on the big league club, the team’s search for a GM and what 2015 should look like in Arizona. It’s going to be a busy offseason for the Diamondbacks and Inside the ‘Zona, so we hope you’re up for the ride!

Thanks for reading!
